You Are the Spiritual Practice You’ve Been Seeking

You’re craving more, aren’t you?

Many of us are.

The shallow, hurtful, selfishness going on in the world is causing many of us to seek deep, meaningful, connections.

Connection with our Selves and connection with our Source.

Many of us want to deepen our Spiritual practice, but are not sure where to start.

Start with you.

YOU are a Spiritual practice.

We’ve been looking outside ourselves for so long.

  • A different place of worship

  • A different prayer or meditation

  • A new podcast, You Tube channel or Influencer

  • A new Pastor, Mentor, Coach or Spiritual Guide

  • A new ritual

  • A new book, Bible or devotional

  • Another retreat

  • More crystals

And the list goes on.

This is what we all do.

We keep hope alive by seeking the potential of something new.

It feels good thinking “ahhh…this is exactly what I need to get back on track”

We have faith that around the next corner we will find the inspiration to finally get committed and go to the next level.

That is possible.

And while we are looking here and there, let us not forget to look at ourselves.

You ARE a Spirit.

Your Spiritual practice must include yourSelf.

The depth of spiritual connection we are seeking starts with recognizing that our Spirit lives right inside of our body.

If you are alive, all giving and receiving of Spirit takes place through the body.

And our body is either a portal or an obstacle depending on how much we recognize it for the Spiritual home that it is.

Worshiping your body is worshiping the Divine.

Devotion to your body is devotion to the Divine.

Praising your body is praising the Divine.

Honoring your body is honoring the Divine.

Being a Disciple to your body is being a Disciple to the Divine.

And because our body is the temple where our Spirit dwells, everything we do with our body is a spiritual practice.

As we seek a deeper connection with Spirit, don’t wait until Sunday, a full moon, or your morning prayer.

Let your next meal be a tithe unto yourself.

Let hydrating with water be a blessing.

Let exercise be an act of  praise and worship.

Let waking from good sleep be a rebirth.

You, my Sister, are a Spirit.

You ARE the Spiritual practice you’ve been seeking.
