There’s a Reason We Were Taught To Say Our Prayers Before Bed

In these turbulent times, this is the conversation we need to have about sleep.

Do you remember your dreams?

Do you feel like you have traveled back from another world when you wake up?

Do you feel an emotion?

Whether it is happy, sad or confused, what energy are you in, when you wake up?

Sleep is more than obeying our physical circadian rhythm, it's a portal to higher consciousness.

When we rest, we detach from our body in the physical realm.

We are released to communicate with our Self in another dimension obtaining spiritual insights and guidance.

Sleep allows us to connect with God/Source/Higher Self, our guides, angels and ancestors.

Sleep is not just a physical need, but an extremely valuable aspect of our spiritual journey and elevating our consciousness.

Many of our Sages, Elders, Leaders, Pastors, Priests, etc. share stories of revelations and downloads received in their dreams.

There’s a reason we were taught to say our prayers before bed—it’s an invitation to the Spirit realm.

We are allowing our body to receive the deepest rest by removing some of the focus from our 3 dimensional reality.

And while we sleep, liberating our Consciousness by allowing a greater percentage of it to be visiting non-physical form.

Developing a pre-sleep ritual, whether through prayer, meditation, or deep breathing, calms the mind and prepares us for this sacred connection.

Rest and deep sleep are not just necessary for our physical health.

Rest and sleep are invitations to receive a deeper understanding of who we truly are.

Rest and sleep are dedicated time to build a relationship with Spirit.

An unrested body is punishing to the Spirit.

A rested body is a channel for the Spirit.

Treating ourselves with grace and giving ourselves space and time to rest is aligning with Christ Consciousness.

As Goddesses, as women made in “His image”, we want to conduct ourselves accordingly.

If we feel we don't have time for rest, it’s not just a sign that we’re neglecting our human needs.

It is a sign that we’ve lost touch with Source and our Self.

Whether we are trying to finish important work, a series or a movie, or just doom scrolling on social media - these are examples of our addiction to our 3 dimensional world.

What would happen if we developed a curiosity about why our bodies sleep?

God/Source/Universe didn’t have to make that a part, let alone a vital part, of our human experience.

What could it mean that 33.3% of our day is designed to be dedicated to sleep - aka Spiritual communication?

What is waiting for us in our dreams?

Maybe the answer to our dreams.
