Dancing Sets Our Soul Free
December brings together the magic of music and celebration.
This is the perfect time to rediscover the joy of dance.
Dance is one of the most natural and freeing forms of movement.
It's something we instinctively know how to do from the moment we’re born.
As babies, before we can even speak, we express ourselves through dance.
As adults, we find ourselves grooving in the bathroom mirror, at parties or in a dance class.
No matter where or how we move, dance is a beautiful way to connect with our Self.
Dance is clearly physical.
But, it is also a powerful form of movement that transcends the physical realm.
Dance can be both silly and sacred, trendy and transformative.
Dance is a moving meditation.
Dance is a practice that offers us a connection to both our body and to the Divine.
In dance, we flow freely.
We tune our bodies to a rhythm that aligns with the energy we feel in and around us.
Since the beginning of time and across all cultures, dance has been used to connect with ourselves, Spirit, and each other.
Dance is a universal language we all understand.
It is not spoken in words, but with heart-centered emotions that transcends dialect.
Whether it’s the Haka from New Zealand, Salsa from Cuba, Belly Dance from the Middle East, or Hip Hop from urban America, dance communicates emotions channeled directly from our Higher Power.
Dance reminds us that the body is a vessel for Divine expression.
A form of worship, a ritual, and an offering.
It is the embodiment of our Soul.
A part of the sacred agreement with our Spirit for adopting human physical form.
Dance is a pure celebration of having a body.
Dance allows our Soul to fully express itself,
Bridging the physical world with the Spiritual.
Beyond its Spiritual power, dance has mental and physical health benefits.
As a therapy for mental health dance,
Relieves stress by calming our nervous system and reducing cortisol levels.
Is a form of self-expression and one of the oldest forms of storytelling, that allows us to communicate emotions that words cannot.
Boosts our mood by releasing endorphins, bringing us happiness and peace.
Helps us process trauma and negative energy stored in our body, enabling us to move through and overcome difficult emotions and experiences.
For physical health dance.
Has cardiovascular benefits by getting our heart pumping and providing a great workout.
Increases muscle tone, joint mobility, improving proprioception, which improves our balance, reflexes, and coordination.
Moves energy through our body, helping to release and unblock emotional or spiritual stagnant energy,
Increases our Prana (life force energy).
Let December inspire you to dance.
Not just for fitness, but for fun, connection, and self-expression.
Dance is a sacred expression of the Energy of Life within us.
It weaves together the physical, emotional, and spiritual in one enjoyable act.
Dance is our Spirit's way of celebrating the potency and excitement of having a body.
Welcome to movement in its most sensational form.
Let your spirit lead, and allow your body to follow.
